This summer being my fourth year participating in Zeespeed; has been the most affective towards 
my life. After meeting Zac in my last year of middle school, I was invited later the next year to join 
the camp. Coming into the camp I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Waking up early on 
summer mornings to workout was about all I knew. At first, It was challenging to motivate myself 
to get up each morning but as soon as I started putting in the work and seen how much stronger 
and faster I was getting; I loved it!! 
   
Zeespeed is not only a place or opportunity to get in shape and to meet new people, but provides 
tools for all us to achieve short term goals, long term goals and overall success. I remember a 
workout we were doing at Lincoln High School this summer. I was trying my hardest to hold back 
tears. I wasn't on the verge of crying because I was in pain or anything; but because in that 
moment I started believing in myself again. I lost my confidence and my self esteem was low due 
to numerous set backs I encountered over the past couple years. I was amazed how greatly an 
impact Zac and all the Zeespeed leaders had on me. 
   
Now I am off to college with a different mind set. I would recommend anyone and everyone to 
participate in Zeespeed. It is a fun, life changing experience.

Lastly, I would like to thank Zac for giving me the opportunity and for always being there when I 
needed you the most, my mommy for her support and to everyone who took time out of their lives 
to inspire us youth! ;) See ya next summer..
