August 1, 2010 Zee Speed Youth Endurance Camp Dear Zee Speed Staff, Trainers, and Donors: Zee Speed changes lives. Over the past six years of participating in Zee Speed; the early workout, drill sergeant trainers, and Albert’s crazy push up routines, changed and inspired me as a young woman. I have had the opportunity to spend most of my teenage summers at Zee Speed and I have grown not only physically but mentally as well. This training camp not only creates better athletes but better people. I have become more goal orientated and I continually create high goals for myself. I am focused and determined in practices and the classroom, which have made my grades go from good to great. My junior and senior year of high school I received all A's and one B+, which then established many opportunities for scholarships and awards. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA, numerous awards, and 3 Scholarships for college. And I give my thanks to Zee Speed for helping instill the hardworking qualities that kept me going. Zee Speed has undeniably given me that X Factor in my athletics and has helped me stand out among the other girl athletes in Tacoma or where ever I go. I constantly receive compliments on my work ethics, techniques, and ability to perform in any drill (Especially when it comes to ladder drills). I thank Zach and the trainers for always pushing me to do more or do better. And for genuinely caring about me as a person, I have been coached by a lot of different people and you don’t always find that a lot. That sense of family and personal attention really made a difference in my experience and made me feel wanted. Zach has been like a second father for me over the years, helping me in so many ways. I feel like I am much indebted to him for all that he has done for me and I will always help him in any way that I can. I thank the Zee Speed staff and organizers for being able to orchestrate such a large group of people and to have everything run so smoothly and pain free. Also I will personally always remember the Storm games and the duck tour we took in Seattle years back, those were all great experiences I haven’t been able to have anywhere else. Finally, I am extremely grateful of the donors and sponsors of Zee Speed. Without your help of providing shoes and gear in the past I most likely wouldn’t have be able to participate in the camp, so I exceedingly give thanks to you! I wholly thank you all for the past six years of mental and physical training Zee Speed has provided for me. I feel that I am beyond ready for this next step into college and cannot wait for the new athletic and academic challenges that await for me. With all respect, Janell Jordan Henry Foss 2010 Graduate Eastern Washington University c/o 2014
